New Exhibit opens January 16, 2010
CT Science Center

Our newest and "coolest" exhibit:  travel from one end of the globe to the other as you explore the fascinating worlds of the Artic and Antarctic.
Test your "ice-Q".  Dress up (and slide) like a penguin.  Conduct research in the Polar Lab.  It's as close as you'll get without bundling up!
Visitors will explore the unique nature of the Earth's polar regions, the current science being undertaken there, and how these regions are indicators of change on our planet.
Massive science landscapes, depicting the austere beauty of these frozen and extremely fragile expanses, provide striking backdrops for the more than thirty exhibits - each combining interactive artifacts and hands-on learning for all ages.
